The Sigma Beauty Lip Base in Indulgent is a beautiful rosy-mauve shade “lipstick” that comes in a wooden pen form and it’s very easy to draw your lips with. It is so convenient to give your lips a shape with its thin edge that you don’t even have to line them with a lip pencil.
Sigma says on their site that it can be worn alone as a matte long-wearing lip product or under another product as a base. And it’s true! It’s a pretty matte formula without drying your lips out or make them feel uncomfortable but it gives you a long-wear application.
It lasted several hours on my lips, about 9 hours, but it didn’t pass the food test. When I tried to retouch it that’s when everything went wrong. It felt crumbling on my lips (to honest I don’t know if it was because there was food on lips or it was the lipstick hahaha), and it started to feel cakey if you know what I mean. If you have to retouch it then I would suggest to remove the first layer and then apply a new one.
But overall I think is a great and cheap choice for those of you that want something long-wearing but don’t like liquid lipstick’s formula! It’s also very easy to carry around since it’s very lightweight and thin.
It is formulated without: Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Triclosan, GMO, Mineral Oil, Formaldehyde, Carmine, Aluminum, Talc, Mica, Gluten, Palm Oil, Casein.
