Sigma Beauty Power Lipstick ($25.00 for 0.11 oz./3.2g) Buy it HERE
The Sigma Beauty Power Lipstick in Bloody Good is a heirloom tomato red lipstick as Sigma describes it. It is a very pigmented and smooth lipstick that you can easily retouch or layer without having any problems looking patchy. For those wondering about the smell I think it has the lightest cherry smell ever. Perhaps it doesn’t even have a smell at all.
The pigmentation is on point with these lipsticks as well as their longevity! I combined it with my Sigma Beauty Power Liner and the results were amazing. They stayed on my lips for 6 hours and survived through talking, drinking and eating and I was totally blown away. They didn’t even smear or fade! It’s probably all thanks to the lipstick because the Power Liner is not very long-wearing.
Nevertheless, I think it’s an amazing pigmented and long-wearing lipstick without the drying formula that long-wear lipsticks usually have but I find it to be a bit pricey. However it feels very luxurious and the magnetic closure is a nice touch even though it makes it heavier than your average lipstick. I wouldn’t say it’s a convenient lipstick to carry around since it’s pretty heavy, I’m guessing it’s because of the magnetic closure, and compared to MAC’s lipsticks it’s almost double the size!
But if you are the type of girl that hates the matte drying formula in lipsticks but need something long-wearing then you’ll love this. They also have some nude shades that I’m in temptation to buy! :)
P.S. It may be long-wearing but it does transfer, keep that in mind! ;)
It is formulated without: Parabens, Sulfates, Phthalates, Triclosan, GMO, Mineral Oil, Formaldehyde, Lanolin, Carmine, Aluminum, Talc, Mica, Gluten, Casein.
